About Laura

Laura is a qualified Sports Massage Therapist with a Diploma in Sports Massage Therapy from Sports Performance Services and is a member of the Sports Massage Association.

Growing up and educated in Lyon, France, Laura studied languages and is fluent in English, French and Spanish. After a career in banking and recruitment Laura decided to follow her passion and is now a dedicated Sports Massage Therapist.

Sport has always been Laura's passion and in her youth she practiced ballet and performed at the Lyon Opera. A keen runner since her teenage years, Laura regularly competes in middle and long distance events.

Laura has competed in the London Marathon, 10-mile races, half-marathons, and has several triathlons under her belt. She completed three Ironman 70.3 (Switzerland and Monaco in 2008 and Antwerp in 2009) and is looking forward to a full ironman in the next couple of years.

Throughout competing in different athletic events Laura discovered an interest in sports massage therapy. Working with many triathletes, from sprint distance beginners, to seasoned Ironmen, Laura found sports massage and myofascial release to be of great benefit in enhancing performance, improving recovery and preventing injury. Although Laura specializes in working with triathletes, runners and cyclists, she also works with tennis players, rugby players, swimmers, martial arts competitors and anyone in need of sports massage.
